The men’s soccer program was founded in 2008 and consisted of 16 very dedicated young men who set the foundation of representing Soka University of America with pride, courage, and commitment. Now, ten years later the roster has grown and the program is continuing on a successful path of building, while being extremely competitive in the NAIA and the California Pacific Conference (Cal Pac).
Under the leadership of head coach Ian Eggleston, and with the aid of assistant coach Kaveh Razaghi, combined with both coaches vast knowledge and experience, the Lions are well on their way to continuing their development and growth into the top tier of the California Pacific Conference.
The Soka Men's Soccer program to recruit and develop a team of players that will be competitively qualified to be the best Student-Athletes in the collegiate level. They recruit nationally and internationally and always look for new recruits who possess all the qualities of a Champion of Character.
