ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Soka University Assistant Director of Athletics, Senior Woman Leader, and Eligibility & Compliance Administrator,
Erica Baldaray has been selected as the NAIA Female Trailblazer of the Year.
This national award honors a woman who exemplifies outstanding leadership and consistent support of women in athletics. Baldaray was selected for her unwavering dedication to fostering equity, leadership development, and opportunity for women in collegiate sports.
With more than 16 years of service at Soka University of America, Baldaray has had a significant and sustained impact on the institution's athletic programs and culture. In her current roles, she has led efforts to strengthen compliance, streamline operations, and enhance the student-athlete experience.
Baldaray has made meaningful contributions to the national athletics landscape through her service on the NAIA Senior Woman Leader Association, and through her leadership roles on the NAIA Leadership Board of MOAA and RISE. At the campus level, she has developed and continues to mentor a Junior Senior Woman Leader program, helping prepare the next generation of women leaders in sports administration.
