Fitness Classes
Fitness Classes are open to all current students, staff and faculty!
 There is no need to sign up for the class, just arrive 5 minutes before the start of class and bring some water! You are welcome to bring your own equipment, yoga mat or tennis racket but if you do not have your own equipment, you are welcome to check the equipment out from the Rec Office, Gym 151.

Yoga
Monday and Wednesday 5-6pm 
Instructor: Elyse
Where: Aerobics Room
This yoga class is student centered based on needs of the class. All levels welcome.
 
Tennis Class
Monday 7-8pm 
Instructor: Vincent
Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm
Instructor: Ross 
Where: Tennis Courts
This class is well suited for beginners and intermediate players who want to improve their tennis game overall. We usually work on fundamentals with feeding and hitting drills. We also try to emphasize learning in a fun supportive environment and incorporate match play whenever the students are able to rally and serve.
 
Tabata
Tuesday and Thursday 11:30am-12:20pm
Instructor: Mimi
Where: Aerobics Room
Tabata is a style of cardio conditioning with 20 seconds of maximum effort, followed by 10 seconds of rest for 4 minutes. We will start with a warm up, do several intervals and end with a cool down. Good for endurance and weight loss/maintenance.

Foundations of Strength & Conditioning
Tuesday and Thursday 5-6pm 
Instructor: Veronica
Where: The Big Weightroom
In this class you will learn foundational movements in the weight room coached by a strength and conditioning professional with a Master’s degree in Exercise Science. Classes will be designed and guided in a safe and effective manner to achieve desired goals, prevent injuries, feel comfortable in the weight room and have fun.
