The Soka University sports information office is responsible for press releases, photos, statistical information, game coverage, game handouts, brochures, website updates and social media for all Lions' athletic teams.

Working media will be provided with final box scores. For soccer games, the sports information office utilizes Presto Sports software. Final game stats will be emailed post-match to the opposing school's Sports Information Director and coaching staffs of the opposing teams. Fax and phone services are available upon advance request.

Competition Day Information:
- Noise caused by artificial noisemakers, such as whistles, sirens, or air horns, are not permitted in the playing and spectator areas. Cheerleaders may use non-electronic megaphones in a non-disruptive manner. Fans are permitted to use non-electronic megaphones for voice amplification only.
- No outside music is permitted as all music played at home athletics contests must be approved by Soka Athletics administration.
- Pursuant with California Pacific Conference Constitutional Bylaw B 5.3- CROWD CONTROL 5.3.1 No artificial noisemakers (including, but not limited to, horns, bells, victory bells, chimes, drums, or musical instruments other than those in the band) will be permitted inside a gymnasium at any Cal Pac contest. 5.3.2 Cheering devices such as wooden blocks or other similar objects are prohibited. 5.3.3 Band instruments are accepted, but only during breaks in actual play. 5.3.4 Megaphones may only be used by uniformed cheerleaders for the purpose of directing and controlling rooting sections. 5.3.5 The improper use of any of the above listed devices by supporters of a team could subject that team to possible penalties or forfeiture of the contest.
