Soka University

2017-2018 Season
Note was a leading scorer for the Lions during the cross country season...running a lifetime best in the 8k at the Vanguard Invitational (29:32.7) placing 27th overall...was also a prominent member of the Soka's Model United Nations Club, while interning at Wood Canyon Elementary...Note did not partake in the 2018 track season, as he was studying abroad in Valparaiso, Chile in the Spring.

2016-2017 Season
During the cross country season Note ran in all five races for the Lions...ran his season best 8k time at the Biola Investigational crossing the finish with a time of 30:02.7... he placed 33rd in the 4K run at the Aztec XC Invite (26.11.8) and 34th at the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Challenge (30:15.4)... produced two season best times during the outdoor track & field season in the 1500m (4:48.72) and the 5000m (18:21.96)...worked for the Soka University Audio/Visual department.  

2015-2016 Season
Ran on both the SUA cross country and track and field teams...ran his best 8k time (32:26.8) during the cross country season at the Pomona-Pitzer XC Invitational... ran the 1500m and the mile during track season...produced his best finish in the 1500m race with a time of 4:54.13 at California Collegiate Invitational... ran his fastest mile of 5:15.03 at the Pomona-Pitzer All Comers meet. 

High School
A 2015 graduate from Parker School in Kamuela, Hawaii...a four-year varsity cross country runner...also a member of the school's volleyball and tennis teams...Note was highly involved in his campus clubs and organizations...a member of the theatre program and the speech and debate teams. 

Personal
Born in Eugene, Oregon where he lived until he was six years old when he moved to Hawaii...parents’ names Mike Note, Shellie Note-Gressard and Jim Gressard...two siblings, a younger brother and a younger sister...also considered attending Emory University, Lehigh University, American University, Oregon State, and Florida University before selecting Soka as his university of choice.
