2015-2016 Season
Fukada was one of two triple jumpers on the women's team for the 2016 season...she also competed in the the long jump...she produced both of her season best marks at the Cal Pac Conference Invitational with a long jump of 4.75m and a triple jump of 10.29m.
High School
An Island School on Kauai class of 2015 graduate...a member of the Voyager track & field team competing in the triple jump, the high jump and the long jump...Fukada was also a member of the Voyager volleyball squad...she was actively involved in student government, ballet, the science olympiad, Interact Rotary Club, and the Chinese Club.
Personal
Born in Osaka, Japan...moved to Singapore at the age of one...moved to Kauai, Hawaii at the age of six...parents Jun and Utako Fukada...two younger siblings, sisters, Mao and Mili...participated in club volleyball...also considered attending UC Irvine, UC Davis, University of Hawaii Manoa, and Whittier College before selecting Soka University as her college of choice...also speaks Japanese and Chinese.
