Was a member of both the Soka cross country and the track & field teams...competed in three races for the cross country team; the Cal Pac Championships, 26th Annual Vanguard Invitational, and the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Challenge...placed 69th at the Cougar Challenge with a time of 24:09.4...posted her college best time in the mile during her indoor track season on her home track at the Soka Indoor Qualifier with a time of 7:09.96...she posted her best 800m mark during the outdoor season with a time of 3:04.67 at the 39th Annual Aztec Open...works for Soka University Recreation Department.

High School
A Lexington High School class of 2016 graduate...ran both Cross Country and Track, where she received three varsity letters...was a National Honor Society member, a part of Global Warming Action Coalition on campus...attended Japanese Language School off campus.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts...moved to Lexington Massachusetts...parents: Clifford and Michiko Haas, one sister: Anju...before choosing SUA, also considered attending Boston University, UVM, and University of Connecticut...Haas is fluent in English and Japanese, and is learning Spanish...Haas also salsa dances in her free time.
