2017-2018 Season
A member of both the cross country teams...Ran in four races for the Lions during the cross country season... first Lion to cross the finish line at the Biola Invitational with a time of 19:53 (20:03.2)... finished 10th at the Vanguard Invitational with a personal best time of 19:24... was the second Soka runner to cross the finish line at the the Cal Pac Conference Championships placing sixth overall... qualified for the NAIA National Championships... earned Cal Pac First Team All-Conference honors... at the NAIA Championships race she placed 289th overall with a time of 20:49...named a Soka University Athletic Department Scholar-Athlete at the annual awards banquet... served as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Secretary... elected as the S.A.A.C. President for the 2018 fall semester.


2016-2017 Season
A member of both the cross country and track & field teams...Ran in seven races for the Lions during the cross country season... finished 116th at the Biola Invitational (20:03.2)... 12th at the 72nd Aztec Invitational (21:41.4)... 79th at the Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational (20:00.2)...52nd at the Vanguard Invitational (21:19.8)...42nd at the Cougar Challenge (20:06.8)... was the third Soka runner to cross the finish line at the the Cal Pac Conference Championships where she qualified for the NAIA National Championships... earned Cal Pac Second Team All-Conference honors... at the NAIA Championships race she placed 301st overall with a time of 21:01.6...ran a season best mile of 6:04.92 at the Jackson/NB Boise Invite suring the indoor track season... ran an outdoor track season college best time in the 1500m (5:22.41) at the Aztec Open...named a Soka University Athletic Department Scholar-Athlete at the annual awards banquet... served as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Vice President... elected as the S.A.A.C. Secretary for the 2017 fall semester.

2015-2016 Season
Member of the cross country and the track & field teams at SUA...posted her best 5k time at the UC Irvine Cross Country Invitational with a time of 23:53.2 and her best 6k time of 26:02.6 at the San Francisco State Invitational... ran the 1500 meter race and the mile race during the indoor and outdoor track seasons... posted her Soka best time in the 1500 meter race at the first annual Cal Pac Invitational Outdoor Track Meet hosted by SUA with a time of 5:27.80...also posted her Soka best time in the mile at the Soka Indoor Qualifier with at time of 5:56.95...Soka Student Orientation Leader for the Class of 2020...member of the SUA Model UN. 

High School 
Attended San Dieguito Academy...ran two seasons of varsity track and cross country...received the San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Award and the Language Award for Japanese Studies...president of the Japanese National Honors Society... member of the Eco Club and Kakehashi Project.

Born in La Jolla, California...grew up in Encinitas, California...parents Jennifer and Eric Amundsen...Soka University was Amundsen's number one University of choice... double concentrating in International Studies and Environmental Studies...studying Japanese and Chinese.
