Track & Field Facility

Home to both the Soka University Indoor Track & Field Qualifier and the Outdoor Track & Field Peace Invitational, the Soka University Track facility has an 8-lane all-weather Rekortan track that awaits athletes training at Soka. This field is also fitted with Musco lighting and sodded with hybrid bermuda. The angle of the track takes advantage of the prevailing westerly wind that comes in from the Pacific Ocean.

The Soka University track is open to the public from first light to dusk when the facility is not in use by the university. All field usage (long jump pits, high jump and pole vault mats, throwing rings, etc...) is not permitted. There are no dogs allowed on the track facility. There are also no bikes, skateboards, or scooters allowed on the track. We ask that children under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult when utilizing the track. The university does not permit any clubs or organizations to utilize the track facility for training purposes. Personal training and individual coaching sessions not affiliated with the university are also not permitted. All track equipment is property of Soka University of America, and the unpermitted use of this equipment is prohibited.
