2024-2025 Season
Takamura placed 28th at the Cal Pac Men’s Cross Country Championships with a time of 31:30.2. He ran 30:31.9 at the Pomona-Pitzer XC Invite (64th), 31:03.6 at the Cougar Challenge (151st), and 32:33.3 at the Biola Invitational (134th). He did not start at The Master’s University Invitational. Takamura opened the season at the Seawolf Invitational 4-mile race, placing 71st in 26:39.9.

2022-2023 Season
Takemura opened the Cross Country season at the Jessup Warrior Invitational in the 8k event where he recorded a time of 32:35.7…also competed in the California Pacific Conference Cross Country Championships in the 4.97M event and finished with a time of 32:52.8…served as a member of the Instant Radio club at Soka University of America.

High School
Graduated from Kansai Soka High School…competed on varsity Track and Field team for two years…served as a member of the executive committee for school events.

Born and raised in Osaka, Japan…parents Meguni and Tomohide Takemura…one sibling; Hidemi Takemura…also considered attending Toyo University in Japan before committing to be a Soka University Lion…concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences and studying Chinese at SUA…fluent in Japanese…when not competing hobbies include playing the guitar.
