2024-2025 Season
Nakamura placed 20th at the Cal Pac Men’s Cross Country Championships with a time of 30:08.6. He ran 29:56.4 at the Pomona-Pitzer XC Invite (57th), 30:22.6 at The Master’s Invitational (215th), 29:41.7 at the Cougar Challenge (148th), and 29:43.9 at the Biola Invitational (118th). Nakamura opened the season at the Seawolf Invitational 4-mile race, finishing 74th in 27:15.9.

2022-2023 Season
Nakamura competed in the Cougar Challenge 2022 in the 8k setting a time of 27:59.9…competed in the 2022 Pomona-Pitzer XC Invitational in the 8k event, finishing with a time of 28:35.8…in the following competition, the Jessup Warrior Invitational, Nakamura also competed in the 8k and set a personal record with a time of 27:23.2…competed in the California Pacific Conference Cross Country Championships in the 4.97M event and finished with a time of 27:14.3…also plans to participate in study abroad in the Spring of 2025 in Japan.

High School
Graduated from Huron High School…completed one year on varsity Track and Field for the Green and Yellow…served as a member of National Honors Society…member of the Debate Club.

Born in Osaka, Japan and raised in Yoshkar-Ola, Russia before moving to the United States of America for high school…parents; Liliya Minkina and Norikazu Nakamura…one sibling; Eugenia Minkina…also considered attending the University of Michigan before committing to be a Soka Lion…concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences as well as International Studies and studying Japanese at SUA…Nakamura is also fluent in Russian…hobbies include basketball.
