As a first time member who is new to the sport, he dedicated his summer to learning and growing as a runner... The coaches are hopeful he will make an immediate impact on our men's cross country team.

A graduate from Advanced Technologies Academy...was a member of the National Honors Society, Global Studies Club, and the Key Club... Mar was highly active in student government as he served as his senior class treasurer.
Personal
Born in Chino Hills, California...moved to Las Vegas, Nevada...parents Kevin Hao and Stephanie Wang...one sibling, sister, Pearl Mar...studied abroad in Nagoya, Japan in 2014...during the 2014-2015 academic term Sean was a member of Josho Daiko and Rhythmission campus clubs...in 2013 he served as SUA's Josho Daiko Vice President along with being a member of Keep Soul and Instant Radio...in his first year as a Lion, Mar was also a member of the Kapilina Ho'olokahi club along with his Josho Daiko and Rhythmission membership...Sean speaks Japanese and Chinese.
