Nancy grew up playing golf in Newport Beach, CA. She attended Newport Harbor High School where she played and lettered on the varsity boys’ golf team all four years. She was one of ten student-athletes who received a four year varsity letter in the school’s fifty year history. She became ranked 3rd amongst juniors in the state. She was given the honor of being named to the Junior All –American team by the AJGA. She was heavily involved in amateur competition all over the United States. She is a two time California State amateur semi- finalist. (With a 25 year break in between the two) and many past experiences with national amateur competition.
Nancy attended University California, Los Angeles where she captained the Bruins’ women’s golf team (82-83), and was selected to the All-WCAA Conference team (81-82). Nancy was offered a full golf scholarship to UCLA. After UCLA, she followed her dream and turned Professional in 1985. She was a multiple year member of the Kosaido Ladies Asian Tour, Australian LPGA, Japanese LPGA, Futures Tour, and Players West Tour. She was invited twice to represent the United States in the World Ladies Konica Cup in Yanagi, Japan. She is a two time Women’s US Open qualifier. Nancy joined the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional after retiring from playing professional golf. She has worked as director of Golf in both the private and public sector, up and down the state of California. .More recently she was with the First Tee Greater Sacramento as Director of Programming and Operations and the Southern California PGA’s after school program called Teach Grow and Achieve, better known as TGA. Nancy has been exposed to all areas of the golf world both public and private golf clubs as well as the marketing, golf product and the golf outings side of the business.
She currently resides in Costa Mesa, where she supports her local animal rescue and enjoys fostering dogs when she can.
