Graduated from Aliso Niguel High School…competed for one year of varsity baseball for the Wolverines…recipient of the Valedictorian Award in 2021…received the Best Hitter Award for the high school baseball team in 2018…outside of baseball, Max competed in golf, would go hiking and surfing, and was involved in weightlifting…also traveled to different states and national parks…member of the concert band playing the Alto Saxophone.

Born in Orange County, California and raised in Aliso Viejo, California…parents; Seiji and Kiko Takaku…one brother; Leo, who is also a member of the Soka University of America Men’s Golf team…competed in club baseball for the Orange County Scorpions…also considered attending UC Los Angeles, UC San Diego, and UC Irvine before committing to be a Lion…concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences and studying Spanish at SUA…also fluent in Japanese…plans on studying abroad in Granada, Spain in Spring 2024…hobbies include going outdoors, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
