2024-2025 Season
Kunimoto was a reliable sprint freestyle contributor for the Lions, highlighted by a 2nd-place finish in the 50 Free (22.80) at the PCSC Championship… added a 13th-place finish in the 100 Fly (56.89 PB) at the GSAC Championship and notched relay splits as fast as 22.29 (200 MR)… posted personal bests in the 100 Back, 100 Breast, and 100 Fly throughout the season while consistently scoring in mid-distance freestyle events.

2022-2023 Season
Kunimoto competed at the Bruin invitational in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 200 Free and setting season best in each event with times of 22.51 in the 50 Free, 52.49 in the 100 Free, and 2:02.67 in the 200 Free…also competed in the 2023 Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference in the 100 Fly, setting a time of 59.19…also competed in the Slug Shootout 2022 in the 500 Free on Day 1 and finishing with a time of 5:24.73 and competed in the 200 IM on Day 2 with a time of 2:25.52…held a job on campus at the IT Help Desk.

Graduated from Kansai Soka High school…  competed for three years on varsity swim.

Born and raised in Obu, Japan… concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences and studying Chinese at SUA… fluent in Japanese.
