Swam the Free, Back Breast, Fly, and IM for the Lions...Balman's season best times include 50 Free (24.87), 100 Free (55.88), 200 Free (2:04.50), 100 Back (1:07.02), 100 Breast (1:09.98), 100 Fly (55.93), 200 Fly (2:05.43), 200 IM (2:06.23), 400 IM (4:52.27).

2018-2019 Season
Swam a strong first season for the Lions competing in the Free, Back, Breast, Fly and IM... Balman's season best times include 50 Free (25.18), 100 Free (54.34), 200 Free (2:04.57), 100 Back (1:05.74), 100 Breast (1:08.45), 100 Fly (56.63), 200 Fly (2:06.78), 100 IM (1:03.68), 200 IM (2:13.64), 400 IM (5:06.98)... member of the Soka's Soul Wings club. 

High School
Graduated from Manhattan High School...swam two years for the Bisons...was team captain and was awarded 1st and 2nd team at the Centennial League meet...also was a member of the Honor Roll and National Honor Society... Received the Rotary International Club's February 2018 Student of the Month Award... was a state finalist for swimming in March of 2018... Centennial League First and Second Team League Championship in the 200 IM and 100 Fly in 2017 and 2018... Kansas All-State Choir member 2017-2018. ????

Personal
Born in Houston, Texas... moved to Germantown, Maryland and Temple, Texas, Manhattan, Kansas and currently lives in Lake Villa, Illinios... parents John and Seana Balman...five siblings, August, Jonas, Juliet, Ethan, and Catie...in 2012 Balman placed first overall at the National Dance Competition in Norman, Oklahoma... Balman's concentration while at SUA is International Studies... he intends to study abroad in Guanajuato, Mexico during his junior year.
