2022-2023 Season
Yamamoto competed in 5 of the 6 competitions in the 2022-2023 Season for the Lions…she set a season best, shooting a 79 at the Antelope Hills South Course in the ERAU Spring Invite in Round 2.

2021-2022 Season
Yamamoto competed in all six of the women’s golf team’s events…she set a season best record shooting an 82 in a single round at Verrado Golf Club in the Firestorm Fall Invitational hosted by Arizona Christian University…Yamamoto also held an internship in Sports Medicine at SUA…received the Women’s Golf Most Outstanding Award at the annual Soka Athletics Banquet.

Graduated from Los Alamitos High School…dual-sport athlete playing basketball her first year and varsity golf during the senior season for the Griffins…member of the CSF…served as a member of NHS…named president of Japan Club.

Born in Fountain Valley, California and raised in Cypress, California…parents Ryan and Denyce Yamamoto…one sibling; Ryden Yamamoto…considered attending University of Hawaii at Manoa and Macalester before committing to be a Lion…concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences and studying Japanese at SUA…intermediate in Japanese and Korean…hobbies include hula, basketball, dancing, listening to music, and getting Boba with friends.
