Angel Zazueta joined Soka University of America in April 2024. Zazueta came from within the California Pacific Conference, having most recently served as the sports information director at Benedictine University Mesa in Arizona.

In her role, Zazueta oversees promoting SUA’s ten intercollegiate athletics teams and overseeing statistical and video operations. She also heads the social media strategy and develops creative content for sokaathletics.com and the department's various platforms.

Zazueta earned her bachelor of art’s degree in English in 2018 and master’s in business administration in 2021 at La Sierra University. Zazueta was a member of the La Sierra softball program between 2013-2016.
