Joining Soka in the fall of 2022, Emma oversees the equipment room and recreation department, scheduling facilities and fitness classes. Additionally, she assists the athletic department with game day and event setup and execution.
Emma grew up playing softball in Orange, CA, her hometown. She later played at Providence College, where she enjoyed being a student-athlete and part of an athletic department. During her career at Providence, Emma broke the All-Time Hits record with 238 career hits. She holds the record for the highest Single Season Batting Average record (.423) and the highest career batting average (.377), with the second most runs scored (130) in program history.
At Providence, Emma earned her BS in Marketing and continued her education by earning her Master's in Sports Management from Point Loma Nazarene University.
Following her undergraduate experience, she interned at Special Olympics and Palm Springs Power Baseball. She also worked as a customer service representative and a box office attendant.
