Box Score ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The Soka University Lions dropped their non-conference match against the Azusa Pacific University Cougars on Wednesday evening at the Lions' Den Soccer Stadium.

The Cougars didn't overwhelm the Lions with shots on goal initially, but capitalized when the opportunities arose. The Lions trailed going into the second half, allowing goals at the 28th and 43rd minutes of the match. The Cougars would find the net again at the 53rd minute.

The Lions struggled to put the finishing touch on several chances in both halves. The Lions best chance came in the second half at the 82nd minute on a shot from Mateus Seiki Rosa that missed high.
