2020-2021 Season
Soccer season was canceled due to Covid-19... earned the prestigious Ikeda Scholarship from Soka University going into this junior year... served as a research assistant at Soka University Japan.  

2019-2020 Season
Played in eight matches for the Lions... a member of the Instant Radio Club, Project 39, and Cats in Crowns... a member f the Soka Education Student Research Project... research assistant... chemistry and Japanese tutor.

High School
Graduated from Tokyo Soka High School...played soccer for Tokyo High School for three years...earned a full scholarship from high school... a three-time recipient of the Soka High School Academic Excellence Award... a School Trip Committee Leader, Tokyo Olympic Volunteer, Class Leader and Global Citizenship Program Leader... made the Quarter Finals in Tokyo with his high school team.

Personal
Born in Manhattan, New York... moved to Tokyo, Japan at the age of 4...parents Katsuhira and Saori... Arai's father Katsuhira played soccer at Miyazaki University... one sibling;  Mika...plans to concentrate his studies in Life Sciences and Spanish... speaks Japanese...outside of soccer, he enjoys playing the guitar and piano.
