2016-2017 Season
Appeared in 5 matches for the Lions and started 1... earned 2 points on the season... scored his first career goal in the Lions' season home opener against Providence Christian College for his first collegiate shot and with his first touch of the game off of a cross and a first time volley... received Soka Scholar Athlete Recognition at the annual Soka awards banquet.

2015-2016 Season
A spark of energy for the Lions when he stepped onto the pitch... played in 3 matches for Soka. 

High School
Attended Dunman High School...a two year varsity soccer player...received the Good Academic Progress Award...was a member of the Wushu Club and the Info-comm Club...While playing for Dunman's boys soccer team the squad took part in the Nike Singapore trails finishing unbeaten (7-0-1)....the team also won the inter-house championship in 2011, as well as the sports carnival champions in 2011 and 2012.

Born in Singapore…parents Richard and Lina Tan…Also considered attending National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University and Nanyang Technological University before selecting Soka as his college of choice…Undecided on his academic concentration at SUA…studying Japanese and speaks Chinese and Hokkien.
