2021-2022 Season
Played in 15 matches and started in 14 matches for the Lions…scored two goals and finished with a total of 4 points during the season…served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a member and was selected Cal Pac S.A.C. Representative for the upcoming 2022-2023 season…named to the Cal Pac Conference Second Team…earned Soka Scholar-Athlete honors…worked on staff for the Recreation Center…studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain during the 2022 Spring term.

2020-2021 Season
Soccer season was canceled due to Covid-19... a member of Soka's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee...served as Vice President of S.A.A.C. for the spring 2021 term. 

2019-2020 Season
Played in 14 matches for the Lions... scored two goals and assisted in one for a combined five points on the season... took seven shots... named to the Cal Pac Conference Honorable Mention Team... serves as a Men's Soccer Representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. 

High School
Graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School...three year varsity letter winner for the Mustangs... earned Big VII All-Academic, All-League Big VII, and Defensive MVP for the blue and orange.

Personal
Born in Fullerton, California and raised in Jurupa Valley, California... parents Jon and Kris... Buchert's father Jon played Rugby for the University of Washington Huskies...two siblings; Brodie and Riley...played club soccer for the Riverside City Football Club... won the CRL Cup with his team... also considered attending Hope International University and Oklahoma Wesleyan prior ot committing to the Soka Lions...studying Humanities and Spanish while at Soka.
