Razaghi has been serving as the Evening Recreation Center and Operations Coordinator since August 2019.  He assists the department with the Intramural Sports, Outdoor Adventures and evening operations.

Razaghi played soccer at the collegiate level at Fullerton Junior College for two years and also at California State University, Dominguez Hills for two seasons.  Razaghi’s achievements as a collegiate athlete include; First Team All-American Western Region NCAA Division II at Dominguez Hills in 1991 & 1990, Most Valuable Player Southern California Junior Colleges in 1982 and Runner-Up in 1981.  While at Fullerton Junior College Razaghi was also selected to the First Team All-Conference for both seasons he participated in.

As a player, he won many championships at both the club level for indoor and outdoor leagues and tournaments.  He was the leading scorer for the Coast Soccer League (CSL) for numerous years which also included many championships both in league and cup play.  His highest achievement at the club level landed him two championships as the top club team in California, and in the California open men’s division in 1989 and 1992.

In 1992 Razaghi was selected to play and practice with both the Brazilian and the Argentinian Olympic teams at the Home Depot Center prior to the 92’ Barcelona Olympics, and also served as the team captain for Coast Soccer League U-18 All Star team against the German U-18 National Team.  Razaghi was also the starting center back for California Surf U-21 as a 17 year old in the NASL league.

Razaghi’s coaching career started as a Frosh-Soph coach at Troy high school when he was only 18 years old.  He was at Troy high school for three years, and also served as the J.V. coach, as well as the assistant coach to the Varsity team where Troy finished second place in CIF Southern Section.

Razaghi served as an assistant soccer coach at Fullerton Jr. College for three years with two league championships.  While serving as a manager at CSU, Dominguez Hills he served as the intramural sports director as well as a recruiting coach for the soccer programs where Cal State University, Dominguez Hills won three National Championship in NCAA Division II. 

Razaghi has also coached hundreds of soccer camps assisting professional and college coaches throughout Southern California.  He also coached several men’s soccer teams in Orange County which included O.C. United for three years and Newport Eagles for two years.

Razaghi earned a Masters of Arts in Physical Education from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1994 when he was honored as a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He received his Bachelors of Arts Physical Education) from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1992.  He also has certificates in Real Estate Practice, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Principles and Legal Aspects of Real Estate from California Academy of Real Estate in 2000.
