2020-2021
The 2020-2021 soccer season was canceled due to COVID-19... Gilmer served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee... earned Dean's List Honors. 

2019-2020 Season
Played in 17 matches for the Lions... scored four goal... assisted in two goals... earned a total of ten points... took 19 shots finding frame ten times for a  .526 shots on goal percentage... named  one of Soka Athletics' October Lions of the Month... served as Vice President for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

2018-2019 Season
Gilmer played in every minute of all 18 games for the Soka Lions in his debut season... scored one goals against the University of Saint Katherine... took four shots with two finding the target for a .500 SOG percentage... Gilmer also had 3 assists throughout the season... ended the year with five points on the season... member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. 

High School
Attended Hoover High School... played four years of varsity soccer for the Buccaneers... served as a school ambassador and collected over 400 hours of community service through his school's organization.

Personal
Born and raised in Hoover, Alabama... parents Ken and Dianna... one sibling; sister Gabby...played club soccer for the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club... considered attending the Coast Guard Academy before committing to Soka University... intends to concentrate in Social and Behavioral Sciences and study Japanese... enjoys reading thought-provoking books and writing in his spare time.
