Chavez appeared in 16 matches and started in six matches… he totaled 699 minutes taking seven shots in the 2023 season… Chavez tallied one assist in the match against UC Merced (10/15) to help secure the win.
2022 - 2023 Season
Played in 7 matches and started in 2 matches for the Lions…participated in the study abroad program in Costa Rica in Spring 2023.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada... parents Hope and Roberto Chavez... one sibling; Diego... played club soccer for the Las Vegas Sports Academy and won the Nevada State Cup in 2018... also considered attending UNLV before committing to the Soka Lions... concentrating in Life Sciences and studying Spanish... when not playing soccer, Jared enjoys spending time with his family.
