Soccer season was canceled due to Covid-19... studied abroad in the Spring 2021 semester in Salamanca, Spain... worked as an online English tutor.

2019-2020
Played in six matches for the Lions at outside back... a research assistant to Professor Ishiyama... worked for Soka University's IT Help Desk and as an online English tutor... a member of the Saulseros Dance Club and Instant Radio Club. 

2018-2019 Season
Played in 3 matches for the Lions at outside back in his debut season. 

High School
Attended Kansai Soka High School... played soccer for five years... a member of his school's community cleaning group... earned the Macan University Award for English language proficiency... a member of the photography club, firefly preservation club, and a class representative.

Personal
Born and raised in Higashi Osaka, Japan... parents Yumiko and Eiichi... Kawaii's father played rugby in high school... one sibling, Natsumi... also considered attending Soka University of Japan and UC's before committing to SUA...concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences and studying Spanish while at Soka University... speaks Japanese and studies Portuguese and Mandarin... in his free time Yuichi enjoys watching movies, photography, language learning, surfing, snowboarding, playing video games and playing the guitar.
