Played in 15 matches and started 12 matches for the Lions…scored two goals and had 3 assists on the season for a total of 7 points…served as a member of Latines Unides…held a job on campus as a Peace Ambassador…studied abroad in Puerto Rico during the 2022 Spring term.

2020-2021 Season
The 2020-2021 season was canceled due to COVID-19... member of the Saulceros and Latines Unides clubs... served a s a Peace Ambassador at SUA.

2019-2020 Season
Soccer: Played in 17 matches for the Lions making an immediate impact on the program in her first season... scored three goals... assisted in seven... 13 total points.... took 41 shots finding frame 19 times for a .463 shots on goal percentage... scored a season high of two goals against Cal Maritime on Sept, 28.
Indoor Track: Joined the track team after playing soccer at SUA... Competed in one indoor meet, the Mangrum Invitational (CSU San Marcos) setting a personal best 1:48.15 in the 600m.

High School
Graduated from Pacific Collegiate School...played varsity soccer for four years and ran varsity track for four years for the Pumas...received MVP honors two years in a row in 2017 and 2018.

Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California...parents Roxana Jimenez and Ruben Ortiz...two siblings Natalia Jimenez-Ortiz and Leonardo Ortiz...brother Leonardo plays soccer at SUA...played club soccer for Santa Cruz Jaws...considered attending UCSC, SJSU, University of Redlands and University of San Diego before deciding to come to Soka...outside of soccer she enjoys baking, hiking and spending time with her family...intends to concentrate in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Japanese.
