High School
Attended Kansai Soka High School... received the Founder's Award, which is an award given to one male and one female student who contribute to the development of the school, and success of school events, as well as excellent academic achievement... served as the president for several school committees including graduation committee...also played soccer for six years and played volleyball for nine years.

Born and raised in Kantano City, Osaka, Japan... parents Tatsuya and Kimiyo... Yuka's father played soccer as well as her two older brothers Koichi and Tetsuya... also considered attending Soka University of Japan prior to committing to Soka University of America... intends to concentrate in Humanities and study Spanish at SUA... speaks Japanese.
