LANCASTER, CA- The Soka University Lady Lions fell to the University of Antelope Valley Pioneers 1-0 on Thursday afternoon.

The Pioneers' Daisy Rodriguez netted the Lone goal of the match in the 31^st minute, off of an assist from Andrea Bedoya.

Despite efforts from Soka's offense comprised of Jordan Pritzl, Natalia Gilbert, Merina Addonigio, and Jenna Jenson, the Lady Lions were unable to convert their chances and find the equalizer.

The Lady Lions will return to action on Saturday Oct. 27, 2018, when they host the Redhawks of Simpson University in their Breast Cancer Awareness match. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
 
 


 
 
NOTES: This is the sixth meeting between the Lady Lions and the Pioneers… Soka is now 2-4 against Antelope Valley… The Lions were outshot 17-8… Soka's Alicia Davis made seven saves on the day.
