SURPRISE, Ariz. – Soka University men's soccer showed strong second-half resilience in a hard-fought GSAC matchup on the road, falling 1–0 to Ottawa University–Arizona (OUAZ).
After conceding an early goal in the 15th minute, the Lions tightened defensively and controlled much of the second half, generating consistent pressure and multiple scoring opportunities. Soka outshot OUAZ 8–1 after halftime and finished with nine total shots, including four on target.

Eric Aparicio made two saves to keep the Lions within striking distance, while
Hope Suka,
Rudy Garcia, and
Luca Aiello each tested the OUAZ keeper as Soka pushed for an equalizer. The Lions also earned four corner kicks in the final 45 minutes.
