ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Soka University men's soccer fell 3–0 to Embry-Riddle at home on Thursday evening. The loss brings the Lions record to 4-2-0 in GSAC play, and 4-4-1 overall.
 
The Lions opened the match with energy, pushing the pace early Mateus Seiki Rosa nearly connected with a header in the third minute, while Armando Carrera and Hope Suka helped keep the pressure on throughout the first half.
 
Goalkeeper Eric Aparicio anchored the back line with three saves on the night. The Lions continued to battle in the second half, earning four corner kicks and outshooting the visitors 5–2 in the period.
 
The Lions will face OUAZ in Arizona on October 9^th with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. The Lions will end the trip with a match against Park Gilbert on October 11^th at 7:30 p.m.
