ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Soka University dropped a 4–0 decision to Embry-Riddle (AZ) on Thursday evening. The loss brings the Lions record to 4-2-0 in GSAC play, and 5-2-3 overall.
 
Embry-Riddle opened the scoring in the 25th minute and carried a 1–0 lead into halftime before adding three goals in the second half to secure the win. Mackinzie Stenstrom recorded four saves in goal for the Lions. The Lions produced three shots, including one on frame, one from Anahi Aranda in the second half that forced a stop from the visiting keeper.
 
Soka earned a pair of corner kicks and battled through an experienced Embry-Riddle side that capitalized on key chances.
