GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Andre Souza and Hope Suka represented the Lions at the 2025 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Alachua County Sports & Events center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Florida on February 27 and 28.
 
Andre Souza competed in the 5000-meter race on February 27th to open the meet for the Lions. Souza bowed out of the race finishing his Indoor season at the NAIA National Championship.
 
Hope Suka competed in the 400-meter dash, finishing 17th of 20 and 5th in his heat.
 
Both Souza and Suka will turn their focus to the outdoor track and field season. Their first meet will be at Occidental College in the Oxy Distance Carnival on Saturday, March 8.
