ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Soka University dropped its conference matchup to La Sierra on Wednesday, September 17, with a 4-0 result.
 
La Sierra struck early, with Sean Palena scoring in the 8th minute. Carlos Leon added two goals, while Palena netted his second in the 82nd minute.
 
Soka finished with eight shots, two on target, while La Sierra recorded 15 shots with six on frame. Goalkeeper Eric Aparicio made two saves for the Lions. La Sierra also held a 2–1 advantage in corner kicks.
 
The Lions move forward turning their focus to The Master's University. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20.
