PALOS VERDES, CA. - Three Lions were acknowledged by the California Pacific Conference for their performances on the soccer field this season, as the Conference Commissioner Don Ott announced the All-Conference Team selections for the 2018 season on Wednesday evening.
Soka junior,
Hunter Stewart earned his spot on the Second Team All-Conference roster for his commanding performance at center back throughout the season, while sophomore goal keeper
Maxwel Barainca and first-year attacking midfielder
Gerardo De La Torre nabbed spots on the Honorable Mention team for their stellar work this season.
Also earning recognition from the conference was Soka's sophomore central midfielder Linus Rueegger. Rueegger was honored for his character both on and off the field, as he embodied the NAIA's Champions of Character core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
