ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The Soka University of America men's soccer program enters a new chapter in 2025, joining the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) for the first time. The Lions will play a 16-match regular season that includes nine home matches and eight on the road, with 13 games counting toward GSAC standings.

The Lions begin the season with four consecutive home matches, kicking off with a scrimmage against Nobel University (Aug. 16). That's followed by a trio of regular-season showdowns against Stanton University (Aug. 23), California Lutheran (Aug. 30), and Southern Oregon (Sept. 6).

Soka's first-ever GSAC match will be a road trip to Benedictine University at Mesa (AZ) on Sept. 13 under the lights. The Lions return home on Sept. 17 to host La Sierra University in their first conference match on home turf. A key two-game Arizona road swing awaits in mid-October, where Soka will face Ottawa University Arizona (Oct. 9) and Park University Gilbert (Oct. 11). The regular season ends at home on Oct. 30 vs. Arizona Christian.
