KANSAS CITY, Mo. –The NAIA released their Daktronics Scholar-Athletes throughout the 2023-24 academic year, honoring over 10,000 student-athletes. The Soka University Lions had forty-seven student-athletes named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes in their respective sports. This year's forty-seven is the most that the Lions have seen honored as Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Women's soccer led all Soka teams with 11 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Men's and women's track and field followed with 10, and men's and women's cross country added eight scholar-athletes. Men's and women's golf added seven, while men's and women's swim and dive also added seven. Men's soccer added four scholar-athletes.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended two full years as a non-transfer student or one full year as a transfer student.

Women's Swim & Dive: Beatriz Ulian Vilanova.
Men's Swim & Dive: Jaeger Frazier, Philips Ametsikor, Ren Rydberg, Rion Kunimoto, Robert Wade Merrill, Zachary Holt.
Women's Golf: Carol Krein Robinson, Hina Ebata, Kalen Yamamoto, Linnea Yamamoto.
Men's Golf: Leo Takaku, Max Takaku, Zachary Holt.
