VENTURA, CA- The Soka University Lions traveled to Ventura, CA to open the Spring season at the Sea Beggar Invitational throughout the course of two days at the Olivas Links Golf Course. Soka's
Linnea Yamamoto,
Kalen Yamamoto,
Ryanne Padayhag, and
Mizuki Yano competed on the women's side, while
Zachary Holt competed on the men's side.Â

For the women, the 16-competitor field saw Soka's
Linnea Yamamoto (85, 79) place 11
th overall, shooting a combined score of 164 over the two days. Soka's
Kalen Yamamoto (89, 85) placed 13
th overall with a combined total of 174, while
Ryanne Padayhag (131, 123) finished in 14
th with a total of 254 and
Mizuki Yano (127, 133) combining for 260 and a 15
th place finish.Â

Of the men's 25-competitor field, Soka's
Zachary Holt (86, 83) finished 24
th overall with a combined score of 169 over the two-day competition.Â

"Both teams performed well at the Providence Christian Sea Beggar Invitational," said Head Coach
